Nothing; but it has everything to do with a total loss of our freedoms granted under our nation’s Constitution as well as the total loss of prosperity that was the the fruit of the our former economic system of free enterprise, capitalism, and self-determination.
all these problems are interconnected.
Universal Healthcare can save millions of people from Medical bill bankruptcy, it can save jobs. Our Healthcare system is super expensive and inefficient
Well, Universal Health Care will help all of those people who are getting laid off and have lost their insurance as a result…so I can see the tie in there. Energy taxes will help the government make up some of the "stimulus" dollars. As for the education thing…um…can’t really speak to that. There, I did my best to be objective I live in Canada, which hasn’t even been hit close to as badly as the US by the economic crisis, and all we have heard about recently is things like budget, stimulus, interest rates, etc.
there’s nothing specific in the recovery package that you can point to and say "that is it, that’s what’s going to make a difference" but trying to is like watching a down pour and trying to figure out which rain drop is going to be the one that causes the flood. This package is so large and so diverse, it’s trying to touch every aspect of America but there is no centerpiece that it is built around. The Mississippi River floods about once every decade not because of one massive rain drop but because of millions of little ones.
I see it as another fall, nearly head first, down the slippery slope that American Morality and Integrity has been descending for generations. People deny responsibilities till they’re buried under mountains of problems and then blame authority figures, who are likely partly culpable for not teaching and preparing the next generation, but in the end no one takes courage and faces the beast, admits wrong and picks up the pieces. Education issues started before the major issues of the 1960’s. America has been consuming and wasting like there is no tomorrow and soon, there won’t be. "The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine, but God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine". It’s a spiritual problem with a spiritual answer. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" Ephesians 6:12

Nothing.
But it’s good camouflage to get long-standing Democrat wish-list items installed.
It has nothing to do with recovery…it’s just exploiting the recession to force a Liberal agenda down our throats.
It doesn’t. That thief wants to justify stealing our money.

We all see through his BS.
This "crisis" is a gift from heaven for him to use as an excuse to push socialism on us.
Recovery my azz. He and the socialists running congress are trying to change our lifestyle.
Sit back and enjoy, and lube up.

It appeases those who voted for him in hopes that they would not have to be so self sufficient.
